Electromobility Day 2025 - experience the future of transport for yourself

We would like to kindly invite you to the Electromobile Day organized by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies of Brno University of Technology. The whole event is free of charge and open to everyone interested in the world of electromobility.

What you can look forward to?
Are you interested in where the world of modern transport is heading? Would you like to test drive an electric car, see cutting-edge technology or take a peek into research laboratories?
Presentation of company displays and static demonstrations (9:30 - 17:30)
- Static demonstrations of cars: Škoda, Kia, Genesis, prototype electromobil "Shortcut"
- Company expositions: Alfa Profi, Bosch, Garrett Motion, Marelli, Škoda Auto and Valeo
- Formula Student with a driving simulator and Pneuracer (compressed air vehicle)
Tours of the faculty's state-of-the-art laboratories
- Department of Power Electrical and Electronic engineering: examples of various types of electric motors
- Department of Electrical and Electronic Technology: battery systems for electric vehicles and other applications and photovoltaic polygon
- Department of Electrical Power Engineering: electric vehicle charging technology and grid elements
- Department of Radio Electronics: Antennas and Electromagnetic Field Laboratory, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Laboratory, Optical Communications Research Laboratory, Mobile Communication Laboratory
- MATRIX headlight testing demonstration - Department of Electrical Power Engineering and company Marelli
The laboratory tour will start at the following times: 10:00, 11:00, 13:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00 and 17:00.
The meeting point will be at the reception at Technical 12. The maximum number of participants for each tour will be given by the tour guide prior to the start of the tour. The length of each tour is about 40 minutes.

A panel discussion:
A panel discussion will take place from 17:30 to 18:30 in the Professor Brauner Auditorium. (in Czech language)
